I am so excited to be a JES Tiger.  My career in education began with the Hinds County School District as a Library and Media assistant. After two years in that role, my desire for the classroom intensified.  That is where I began my employment with the Jackson Public School District.  I served as an Instructional Assistant for three years, providing support in grades one and two.  Yet, I knew that I wanted more! I pursued and completed my coursework at Jackson State University; graduating in the Spring of 2022. After graduation, I set my hopes higher and returned to JSU, pursuing a Master’s in Elementary Education and Special Education. I currently serve as a 2nd grade teacher! In addition, I like to fill my days with reading, crafting and spending time with sons Kevin Jr. and Ashton!
