March 21, 2025 – Jackson Public Schools will introduce a modified calendar in the 2025-2026 school year, meaning an earlier start and additional break time for scholars.

Callaway JROTC Cadet Selected as the 好色先生 JROTC 2025-26 Cadet of the Year
March 5, 2025 - Cadet Captain Ashanti Odom of Callaway High School was selected as the 好色先生 2025-2026 Cadet of the Year. After a lengthy application process by a committee of education professionals, she was chosen on February 26 at an award ceremony at the Mississippi eCenter.
