Library Media Specialist:
Mrs. Courtney Holmes serves as Murrah High School's
Media Specialist/Summer Reading Coordinator, Lunch Bunch Book Club Sponsor, Crochet Club Sponsor, and Reading Fair Coordinator.
Mission Statement: The mission of Murrah High School's Media Center is to provide a diverse collection of relevant resources that promote a school community of thinkers and lifelong readers that are college and career ready.Library Vision:
The library is the essential hub of the school, and the center of its focus is to serve the students, faculty, and staff. The library is a structured environment where the students exhibit the highest level of integrity in their work and behavior. The goal of the librarian is to provide the resources to meet the academic needs of all students, in addition to providing supplemental resources for the teachers to use in their classrooms.

Renaissance Learning/Accelerated Reading(AR)
Students are given their username and passwords to independently test in this program. Assessments are given once per semester. Data from the assessment is used to determine the individualized academic needs of every student. Students can access their STAR Reading Quizzes. Every term, students will have an AR goal they must achieve. Please see Mrs. Holmes or your teacher for details.
