Interventionist
  • The Intervention Team is a collaborative group of educators designed to support students who are struggling academically, socially, or emotionally. 

     

    Purpose

    • Identify Needs: Assess students who are facing challenges and determine their specific needs.
    • Develop Strategies: Create targeted interventions and support plans tailored to individual students.
    • Monitor Progress: Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure effectiveness.

    Composition

    Process

    1. Referral: Teachers or staff can refer students to the team based on observed difficulties.
    2. Assessment: The team gathers data through assessments, observations, and input from teachers and parents.
    3. Intervention Plan: The Team develops a plan outlining specific interventions, resources, and support measures.
    4. Implementation: Interventions are put into action, often involving adjustments to teaching methods, additional resources, or specialized support.
    5. Review: The team regularly reviews progress and modifies the intervention plan as necessary.
